6.2 parts for sale

What condition is the IP in? I swapped my 6.2 for a 6.5 crate replacement engine in 2000. Will that pump work on my truck?

It came on a "reconditioned" motor, whatever that means. I would assume that it has been rebuilt, but I can't be positive.

I thought that the 6.2 pump didn't put out as much fuel as the 6.5 pump. Not positive, but that is what I understood.

I think we need some expert advice here.

ShawnR, I need a fuel heater rod that goes in my 90 GMC 6.2.
Or do you know resistance of a working one? I may can find one and would like to check it to see if it were right resistance.
I suspect any thing but -0pen- I think, resistance would be right? I have had this GMC for 3-4 years and I 'm learning slowly all these things. How does engine start without fuel pump under floor working? Me and this truck is going round and round. thanks grigsby --1981 Iveco flatbed 5 cylinder, --2 1986 VW 1600 Jetta. --1990 GMC 6.2.

The injector pump will most often suck fuel through a non working lift pump
