1999 chevy suburban 6.5 turbo diesel

THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH. THIS HAS BEEN A 2-1/2 YEAR PROJECT. IM CREATING AN OVERLANDER WITH THIS RIG. LAST THING I THOUGHT WAS AFTER EVERYTHING BEING CHANGE OUT I WOULD RUN INTO STARTING PROBLEMS.
 
As for the non-flow on fail pump situation. for a failsafe "get you home" kinda thing you might consider adding a couple of tee's one before and one after the LP with a hose and a shut-off valve in the middle. keep it turned off but when your out on the road and no where near a place to get parts or repair. just reach under there and turn the valve open to allow the IP to suck fuel and get you somewhere safe.

I know doing this will add more places for a leak or air intrusion if not kept up with, but may save you $$ on a towing bill in the future. cheap insurance for the cost of a little more to maintain.


On the engine running situation, I know you said there wasn't any codes, but many of us have ran into the issue of when you relocate the PMD that we forget that the resistor is inside the connector of the factory PMD and gets missed when relocating and with replacement PMD's I voted to place my resistor in the extension harness at the IP so I would never forget about it! is there any chance you might be missing that resistor?
 
Good catch but have placed resistors in all my back up PMD’s so I would not forget them if I change over to another PMD.
