The poster said the starters breaking off at the block are a known issue on those trucks....I suspect someone needs to tell him it's because the front starter support bracket was missing...

Yes, but it's already broken and he probably doesn't know how or doesn't want to fix it.
If I knew of an easy fix for it, then I'd consider purchasing it. And by consider, I mean mull it over till the post gets deleted and look for the next one to come along, haha.
