I might have something you can play with Pep if you havent found one yet.
that would be cool,,,but I haven't learned the the whole how to build one with my vin from someone elses tune thing yet...also I want to get that DSP2 switch hooked up so I don't have to reload a tune for towing for work...

Don't be jealous...you didn't have to spend $6k!
I'm actually jealous of you...

Don't know if I ever filled you guys in on the condition of the old trans...

the C3's were fried and the steels were heat scarred(?) the C4's were glazed pretty good...

and Monday they cut the old converter open here's an e-mail Ron Sent me...

Your converter clutch was so burnt the paper split and came apart. Thats why your truck cooler was plugged.
Thanks Ron

Eric Merchant said it was living on borrowed time...and that was a year ago...I guess I should be glad to have made it this far...

There's no need for that Pep. You can load up a dsp5 tune and switch them right from your V2.

I've gone through it now so let me know if you want any help before you go messing around.

I'll be doing mine to somtime soon but I'll be getting a SC IV built, sounds like you got your old trans out just in time, did you ever slip it or limp it? Im kinda worried about mine running maybe a 60-70 hp tune I havent limped it either but Im still wondering about it.

limped it a few times...toward the end it was jumping out of 5th under heavy acceleration or when towing under strain in 5th...used use the edge on level three for years...I accidentally had it on 5 one day when towing...someone cut me off and a nailed it and that was the first limp...it lasted a couple years after that just towing on level 2 or 3...
