Split shot injectors?

Found those prior to posting the question. Not seeing where DB's descriptions state anything about a split injection.

You can see in the pictures the weird nozzle. I found a listing for them before and it stated split shot injectors, they had clear pictures showing a weird nozzle. I can't find listing, but I'll keep digging.

I haven't had any time to put towards this idea but I'm still interested in what could be done with parts already avaliable. Just to clairfy, it's not the nozzle that makes it 'split shot'. It's the internals with 2 springs that allow it to produce 2 shots for each injection event. Essentially a mechanical pilot injection.

Would there really be any true benefits to the pilot injection in these engines... ?
