Long story how I got it, but I walked into this deal while trying to sell my truck. A good friend of a good friend was trying to off his bike at the same time I was considering selling my truck. I came ahead like you would not believe.

Nevertheless, here it is. It's a custom build out of Florida, a 2000 custom Soft Tail. 100ci RevTech, 6spd, Vance and Hines pipes, 3" belt drive open primary, custom everything. He did quite a few things since he bought it in 01. The forks, primary, paint work, forward controls, bars, etc... Don't know if you can see it in the pics, but inside of the flames are tiny ghost flames throughout, and outside of the flames are orange ghost ones too. I also got a nice motorcycle jack, a tool box ful of goodies, a cover, and a few different seats (rear too). I've had it a few days now and am loving every minute of it. It gets a lot of attention, especially with my scrawny ass riding around in a wife beater!! :cornut: Lol!

If I decide to keep it for good, I'll probably get a different rear fender, one that slopes down, just to give the rear a fatter look. It needs a fat tire kit and rims, but I'm not ready to invest that much $$ yet!!!

Your duramxless now?

Nope, still have my 03 service truck.....can't be without completely :sifone:

Sweet bike Bill. Those Vance and Hines pipes look loud :D. I'm thinking those might look good on my Heritage. :drool5:

Enjoy the road.

Thanks, and yes, loud is right. I'm loving it though. At first I wasn't all about the fact that it really raps after you let off, but it grew on me. It idles at like 50 rpm (well not really, but really low), and sounds badass while doing so. :D

Nice bike!

Much appreciated. :)

Your truck was only worth $15k?

Sorry, I didn't make that clear...............No, he gave me $22k (payoff on the truck) PLUS the bike :D

He wanted $15k for the bike, so you hit the nail on the head. I beat him up on the price and negotiated it at $12k. If you figure conservatively the bike at $12k, I still ended up with $34k for the truck, and I'm happy with that. Even put the bike at $10k, getting anything over $30k with the market the way it is has me doing cartwheels!

There's a twin to my bike listed on racingjunk for $18,500 with lower miles, so I don't think assuming $14-15k is really too out of line, whatcha think?? I know the bike market is kind of down now too though.

I have the same pipes on my bike pictured in my avatar. They are loud and being short you as a rider better like LOUD. Especially with a motor pushing some air or should I say breathing.

I'm at 100/100 at the rear wheel.

Lot's of work done on that bike. Get comfortable and Enjoy

I have vance and hines pipes on mine too, love them. They make great power, I had a dyno operator tell me not to change a thing. My favorite game is car-alarm-bingo! nice soft tail, I like the color
