Ive noticed in the morning when im leaving it feels like 1st is slipping. Reverse is fine but when i put it in drive and take off it seems like the truck is so hard to move and im on the throttle more to get moving. After it shifts through the gears a couple times its fine and takes off normal. Could it be a solinoid sticking? Im not sure how many miles are on it the truck i pulled it and the engine from had 315000 but engine was replaced 90000 ago im not sure on the trans though. It shifts good and doesnt slip at all after this happens and it doesnt slip in any other gear but 1st.

Last time oil was changed? Number of miles on the trans oil? How does the level look when hot?
Possible caliper sticking cold.

Fluid and filter changed 5000 milea ago fluid is nice and red has some bubbles like its airrating when its running but otherwise looks good and smells good.

Caliper as in brake caliper? Its got new calipers and pads. Like i said when its in reverse its fine but when you put it in drive you cant feel it go into gear and just acts like it slips. Im always easy on it when its cold now that i know its doing it and once i drive about a half a mile and let it shift through the gears a couple times its fine and doesnt do it again until it sits over night or all day. I also know it didnt do this until it got cold out

New parts don't mean they are good. Put the brakes on and release then with the front end in the air and spin a tire to check it out - cold of course. You could have a kink in the return line for the hydrobooster keeping the brakes applied cold. Wheelbearing going bad aka Hub? Does the engine RPM just go up quick without moving?

Any codes? Trans codes don't trip the light.

Possible you have a bad seal on the trans filter letting air in.

Cold you get more advanced timing for a longer amount of time. This usually gives me a power drop when it kicks off. Just suggesting the entire picture as we are not there to see hear and feel it. No mine doesn't like the cold either and rattles pretty good.

I just put new hubs and ball joints on it. I did check the brakes and they are not sticking can turn both tires with one hand. I havent checked for codes yet will do that tonight. And yeah the rpms just go up to prolly around 12-1300 then it starts to move. In reverse all you have to do is let off the brake and it moves and once it goew through the gears once or twice all i have to do to get moving forward is let off the brake.
