I would like to ride in and/or drive a well tuned 6.5L powered truck or burb so I can see the potential.
I have driven both 7.3L and Cummins powered trucks and really like them.
As I was warned before buying it, I am dissapointed in the power of the 6.5.
I have read some posts about guys doing burnouts? Not happening with the burb! :nonod:
With the help and suggestions of you guys I have spent the last year and a half fixing up this burb and have her in pretty good shape. Since I have it in good condition I don't really want to sell her without valid review of her potential.
Maybe there is something that I am misssing? While mine starts and runs smooth it is rediculous when she is working to pull hills with a small trailer where my 7.3 from work would barely notice the hill with a larger trailer.:nonod: I don't know what it should run like since I have never even rode in another 6.5...(Folks around here seem to really hate the 6.5)
If I can't make it much stronger I am going to be pushed to replace the old girl. I hate to do that since I do enjoy this group of great folks and all the help and advice that we are able to trade.
Thanks in advance.
