I looked at the places near home that all had Allison signs out front. Home is Fairfax MN, college is in Collegeville, lol. All of them had Fleetguards or Baldwins, and said that's what they put on large trucks with Allison's. I'll take a look @ a Wix.

I was going to pick one up from the dealer (got a buddy that works the parts counter and usually I can get a pretty good deal on most items - especially exterior parts). Anyway, my "special" price was around $30.00 each! yikes! He said the regular price was $52.00 - told him no thanks. I finally got down to Ocala, Fl to one of the Allison service shops and picked up 3 of em for $7.97 each. These are made in USA, genuine Allison filters. Even the wix filters at Oreily's was $20.00.
