Need a source or part number for this light bulb

Hey folks- this will prolly get moved to Electrical. I didnt post there cuz it is dead there and rarely ever get a response. So, forgive me, but until I get moved here's what I got:

Light switch illumination bulb... itty bitty. Secures in to circuit board. Local stealer says I have to buy the whole switch for 97 bucks. Aint happening... and Napa can't find it.

Does the bulb pull out of the plastic holder? If it does it's probably the same as any other dash bulb.

nope. the leads or bent around the plastic lower portion in such a way that they make contact with the circuit board...

IIRC, it's a 74 bulb, but not sure...

last one i bought was dealer only. Cost me $7. Your local dealer just wants your wallet me thinks. My local dealer parts guy found it really quick. The bulb and base are one piece. They do not come apart, unless you break it that is.

Matuva- not a direct fit (74) unfortunately. Napa dude brought out a box of 'em. Wish it would have been tho! That eBay link was cool- now I have options. I like options.

I agree about the dealer comment. Its why I avoid them at all costs and only go there when no other option exists.

Anywho, this stupid little bulb hasnt worked for 7 years... Is it gay to be happy when you fix stupid crap like this? I like getting little crap like this fixed... makes my whole day!

Got a bulb and installed it today. Wasn't previously aware that once ignition is on, the light is also on. It only turns off when key/ignition is in off position.

My girlfriend manages a garage... ahe asked and a mechanic had it in his tool box! No p/n, just a loose part laying around. Sorry! Looks nice though... having all my lights working finally!

IIRC, you can unwire the blown bulb on the stock socket and pull it away.
Then you can use the wires from the new bulb to install it in the socket and plug back the all thing...
