Trying to help. And she didn't learn that from me, I always bag my parts.

Had to have a talk :)... Funny thing is, a few of those washers came in real handy as the project progressed, but I didn't let her know :)

He wasn't himself the day you guys were over. He had 101 fever that night.
 
Found another "advantage" to the 'plastic like' Dmax fan. It does less damage when you smack an Elk! This backs up the inertia comment somewhere above. A 9 blade steel fan at 2500 RPM takes about 1/4 - 1/2 turn to stop when it is flattened. Bending the Tensioner pulley and wadding a fan blade up under the AC compressor. Most of the cooling fins broke off the fan clutch. The backside of the belt can be slipped by the fans air resistance alone so it isn't pulling it as much as the steel fan's inertia.

After all 20" is only slightly smaller than the blade on a push lawnmower of 18" - 22"
