It's a cloyes chain... after tightening the cam sprocket, it's
a little bit better - probably 1/4 - 3/8", compared to 1/2 - 5/8"
for the original chain. It's all in now, not gonna worry about it.
For those of you following my thread "occasional rod knock",
got the new rocker arm bolts in today, timing chain, cleaned up
the block, hopefully no more oil leaks, put in a new water
pump while it's apart, gonna test all the glows before the
engine goes back in - still gotta put valve covers on, change
exhaust manifold gaskets, all new heater hoses, fuel lines,
change the rear main seal, it's not leaking, but over 230,000
miles, and the engine is on the ground.... :smile5:
