Tonight was my first run at the strip.

Best pass:

1.058 Rea
2.107 60ft
5.872 330ft
8.412 594ft

8.977 @ 79.64 MPH

Ran JoshH's LBZ race tune. This was 4x4 about 1300~ RPM launch. Stock Tranny.

I do not have sleeves, so I was scared to launch hard.

Maybe a mid 8's if I can get that 60ft down.

Stock Tranny.
 
yeah...I wouldn't launch much harder with a stock tranny either...though the 6 spds are a bit more stout than the 5's... even with the sleeves I'd still keep launches below 1800 I've been launching at around 2000 but that's with sleeves and a SC V
 
Update:

Pulled a 8.5 @ 80 MPH Friday night, with 2 more 8.5's to back it up, and 3 more 8.6's and 8.7's.

Launch around 2000 RPM's, I had sleeves this time.

does anyone have a link to a makeshift 1/8 to 1/4 time chart?

just curious...I don't know jack about 1/8 mile times and how they relate to 1/4 mile times...

I'm going to be getting a lift pump in a few weeks.

My trans got done a few weeks ago so I'll be going to the track this Friday night....to break it in... ):h

I would say the closest 1/4 mile would be a few hours. But, when I get it like I want I will give the 1/4 a go. At least I'll have a idea with a 1/8th.
 
I see...I would've thought there would be more 1/4 tracks around...I have one an hour east of me and an Hour West of me...
and NHRA sanctioned No Problem Raceway 1 1/2 hours south west of me

there is a 1/8 mi track an hour north of me though...may have to try it some time...
