Is this truck worth 18,500$

Thanks.
The Tahoe and Pickup are both for sale. As much as I would like to keep atleast the Tahoe, It's just not practical. I am not giving it away though. That is for sure. Guess I gotta update my sig..

was thinking about you and tried to find some kind of cordura nylon kits that would clip over the bed rails and down at the fender wells and bottom of the bed...maybe something similar for the doors and fenders...I guess there is no such thing :(

only thing I could find was 3m clear protective film...

Yeah they used tio make those in Camo I think. I know what your talkin about. Bottom line is just have to be a little more careful. I used to cut in the res with my old superduty which was a nice truck too. The GMC was all beat up when I got it so I was not concerned about runnin stuff over but the main thing is ground clearance where I go cause there is always rocks and stumps hidin' waitin '. The GMC sat real low. Dodge sits alot higher. But the dodge is alot longer. I have a winch wil be going on the front so , I'll have to do more winching.

Congrats on the purchase man! When I was looking at my truck, I looked real hard at a '01, just like yours but in silver. They were asking 13k for it but had 130,000 miles on. Found mine a few days later, early '04 with 53,500 on the clock. Got it for 22k. Green not my favorite color, but looks good on the truck and I too like those body styles. Still am looking for a 12v ext. cab short bed. Kinda like the holy grail of Cummins.

12ga, saw in your sig coming soon ready lift leveling kits. Is that to pick the front end up a little ? How big a tire can I go on mine ? It looks to me like if you get the truck leveld out it could fit 33's.

I can fit 33's as is right now. The way mine sits, it is just slightly lower in the front then the rear, and with the leveling kit on mine, and as easy as it is to do with the SFA, it will give it the perfect look I want and I could fit 35's under it as well. That is what I would like to put on it when I'm ready to replace these tires. I think on the 24 valve's body style, you might be able to fit 35's right off the bat, but I'm not positive. Rich (Cumminalong) might be able give you a more definite answer.

Thanks. Hey do old school Chevy 8 lug rims (mid 80's etc) fit these ? I got a nice set of redneck Turbine Wheels I'm itchin to put on something.(General Lee Style they are discontinued)

AWESOME!

Congrats on the new ride!

With those miles, that think is just barely borken in. They actually recommend NOT going to synthetic oils in the cummins until the engine has between 25K - 35k on it so that everything is seated right.

That truck has LOTS of life left in it.

Now.........commence with the pics man!

):h

The lug pattern is the same, but sometimes you run into issues with the hub size.

The Chevy wheels should fit on a 2nd Gen Dodge, as they still had the Dana axles under them.

The 3rd Gen Dodges went to the larger AAM axles and the hub diamter is larger.

Sme of the guys that put the H2 wheels on the 3rd Gen Dodges need to use a router to enlarge the hub opening for clearance.

But, you should be okay.

You can easily fit 33's. That's no problem at all.

With the right offset, you can actually fit 35's, but it's REALLY close. With 1.5" - 2" leveling kit, you can EASILY run 35's.

33's are no problem though.

I'm running 305/65/17's on mine at stock height and the 2nd Gen's have larger wheel well openings than the 3rd Gen's do.
