Is anybody running the Banks Big Hoss intakes yet. If so, how did you get them to fit. They look huge. I am interested in them...can't find any feed back on them though. They look pricey too...

Not worth it, IMO. Banks makes some tall claims, but you'll rarely (if ever) see anyone who's making "big power" running Banks.

factory intake good for 500whp. mine was busted and was cheaper to replace with the bully dog rfi, only reason i went with it.

I like the AirAid and the AFE intakes.....just out of curiousity, anyone running the AFE intake manifold on here? sorry to get OT but thats my next step and want some feedback...as for the banks, their stuff is great, its top notch but unless you spend a butt load of money and do all their upgrades, you don't see the full benefit of it...

bill, the AFE bladerunner? i haven't used any of them but i have had great luck w/ the CFM ones.

I was under the impression that the stock intakes for the 06/07 LLY/LBZ's had an intake that was far superior than the previous generations. Those particular intakes are proven to be good for around 500 h.p. I dont think this really applies to the older generation intakes as they're very different with much smaller tubing. I think an intake would benefit 01-05 LB7 and LLY's way more than it would on an 06 or newer.
