Yeah same here.

I've never had a job I could really waste a lot of time but for a break and a little down time between projects or tasks sometimes would walk around the plant(s) and just observe and try to look for ideas. I carried a clipboard for notes but didn't take many. Talk to a few people and back to the desk, project, or lab etc.

To clarify: when I'm waiting on something to do, I do what I voted on. But that time is wasted whether I'm doing something or not.
