I read it as well still looking for a public record of some type but it did sound legit to me.Its ashame another American company gone bust.But it did sound as though the owner got a bit too greedy.

The buzz in all the RV forums is that the Fed's went in last Wednesday and kicked the owner out. A lot of suppliers had been negotiating to get trailers in lieu of cash for what WW owes them and I read that Alcoa removed their paint booth just before the courts shut them down. Looks like everyone will now have to stand in line to fight for whatever is left over after the liquidation court gets done.
Apparently some dealers are trying to sell their WW inventory with a 3rd party extended warranty. Will be interesting how they do.
This is a sad situation for everyone who owns one or has been involved in dealing with WW corporate. The scuttlebutt is that the owner was not the most honest person in the business.

I know they were having trouble a while back and mike thompson rv bailed them out. That is how they ended up having exclusive sales rights here in so cal. it is a shame, they build some super nice trailers. Expensive but very nice. I almost went with there billet edition 40 footer. Now,I guess I'm glad I didn't spend the $85,000 they wanted.

It is too bad. All my riding buds own WW's. Just back from Oregon and at least 80% of the trailers there were WW's. A lot of people loved their trailers.
I'm sure there will be a lot of rumors and people talking bad about this or that but, almost everyone I personally know has been extremely satisified with their WW.
Hopefully the name lives on with maybe a new owner. They definitely built a great name for themselves.
