I can't find any info on how its supposed to go together, I had to swap fuel shut off solenoids as the one I got was 24 volt? Thanks.

Don't know much about db2s but I assume it's the same top that covers the screw used to turn up the fuel? If so search for turning up the screw I'm pretty sure I have read something on it here.

The top cover with the solenoids must be slid back on.

There's 3 screws that hold the cap down. After you get the shutoff solenoid arm inside the opening. Slide the cap from the "front" ("front" will be as the pump is orientated on the engine) to the "back"(the spot with the center retaining screw).

If you just place the top cover back on, and tighten it down, you can jam the IP into a WOT state, and nothing will shut it down not even turning off the key, as you've jammed the metering valve wide open. If this happens you'll have to cut the fuel supply or suffocate the engine to get it to stop.

The cover to turn the pump up is the small side cover. The solenoid "cap" and the small cover on the side are two different things.

Ok, thanks, I did it right, I put the housing on and slid it backwards to push the valve towards the back.

Yes, its a 24v, the solenoid is twice the size of my 12 volt setup and the connectors are different.
