Upper Oil Pan Removal
Tools Required

J 37228 Seal Cutter

  1. 660377.gif


    <LI type=1>Remove the oil level indicator tube bracket bolt. <LI type=1>Remove the oil level indicator tube.

    <LI type=1>Remove the two oil pan to flywheel housing bolts (denoted by black triangles).

    <LI type=1>Remove the 24 upper oil pan bolts using a long bit 6 mm hex driver. <LI type=1>Seperate the upper oil pan from the engine block using J 37228 .
  2. Remove the upper oil pan.
