http://www.thetruckstop.us/forum/showthread.php?t=22466 Those engines came from a auction in columbus ohio. Any engines bought on auction have no garrenty. How lucky are you? Lots of gov hoops to jump through also. Can take 2 months or more to get approved to buy after you win the auction.

I'd say if you're anywhere near Columbus, go check it out. Hard to tell from the pix, but it's definitely an NA Hummer motor. Only thing that troubles me is that I can't see the oil drainback tube just below the bellhousing flange. Could be an older 506 block, which I sure wouldn't be anxious to bid on. If it's an AMG 506, it's prob well worth the $500 - $700, even if you have to rebuild it completely.
