Hello, this is my first post over here. I usually hang out in the 6.5 section. Anyway I discovererd today that the same Turbo Boost Bolt I make for the 6.5 will also work perfectly in the Cummins. I have a 93 and a 97 12 valve and can say for sure it works on those engines. I'm not sure how different the 24 valve, 4bt or 6.7 are, maybe someone can educate me.
Anyway this Turbo Boost Bolt replaces one of the stock bolts in your intake. It picks up the pressure and sends it to your guage. Takes less than 5 minutes to install (the TBB itself, not the guage....)
Please see my web site for more info. Right now I only have the info for the 6.5, but it is the same info for a Cummins. www.pmdcable.com

Installed in front intake bolt hole.

Or, behind the air inlet makes a nice spot. I think you can use any of the inboard bolt positions.

Thanks for looking.

Crap!! I just saw I posted this in the 24V section. Hopefully the info would still apply.

Leroy you outa find out that thing would be very useful. It might not be as easy drilling a hole in the manifold on a cummins as it was for my 6.5...

I've got a buddy with a 6.7 next time I see him I will look into it. I was hoping someone here could answer.

How many threads are on the upper (large) threaded area of that bolt?

That doesn't look like it will clamp the intake cover to the runner. It looks like it will only thread to the cover.

The boost bolts that are designed for the Cummins are thread much farther down and don't have that narrow section at the bottom.

Howdy, It definately gives clamping force just like the stock bolt. The upper section is a 1/4" tapered pipe thread.

Some good news, I was able to confirm it will work on the 24 valve and 6.7 engines.
