tranny fluid

i have 95k on my 03 silverado 2500hd . should i change my tranny fluid and filter i have never done it and i bought it with 80k on it and dont no if the old owner did but i am afraid of causeing damage to the tranny. also how strong are thses trannys

At this point I don't think a flush is a good idea. Just a drain and filter change is likely enough.
