Towing with the 6.5

So my buddy is towing a pretty big load with his 93 6.5. his mods are the electroviscous fan clutch and and the ATT.
Between the trailer and the hay his load is around 17k.
It's about 300 miles one way and it not flat land like the prairie states. His limiting factors are he can create too much boost and tranny temps because of TCC unlocking. He's working on using a gasser 4911 PCM and using HP tuners to get a shift program he likes. But hasn't done it yet. He's currently on the road now as I type this

How much boost is it making on the long pulls?

No ? Just that alot of people think the 6.5 can't do this. He's trying to limit boost to 15 even with studs, which I forgot to mention earlier. I think it was WW would said he couldn't really get below 10 mpg but on his first leg back he got 6.2 mpg
