I run 265/75/16 and on my last trip cruising at 60mph to my parents I returned 22mpg hand calculated. Down from what I was getting about a year ago but still pretty good. What I am trying to do is figure out what the best tire size is for fuel economy. So post your tire size and mpg's(hand calculated only) See my photos for a description of my truck.

If I behave,I can get 17-19 on the road at75-85 mph.The truck thinks it's going 65-75.Throw in a headwind and drop that by 3-4.I guess the tires act like an overdrive.

With 265's and the PPE on 90 I get about 15 around town and 20 highway if im not on it

I have a 01 malibu so I havent gone on a any long road trips with the dmax lately. I should be taking it out this weekend on a trip so Ill get a better highway MPG then.
