is anyone familiar with the MPD relay in a 1996 GMC pickup. I do not see any reference to it or it's function. any help?

are you referring to the PMD? little black box about the size of a deck of cards

I was told MPD but PMD may be correct since I have found no reference to a MPD relay. I was also told that it was at the back of engine.

stock it's on the injection pump. most move it to the front bumper holes with a relocation kit
