There is a 2 wire plug that runs through the firewall with brown and green wires. It goes through where the fuse box is but is not in the loom. What is this male plug for?

Looks like it was something aftermarket, since there is that extra added fuse right there too. 2 wire plugs in engine bay would be IAT or Coolant temp sensor on T-stat xover or Engine Coolant Temp gauge sender on front of drivers side Head

The added fuse is mine - trailer power.
I can't believe I've had this for 10 years and just noticed that wire. This guy did do some aftermarket stuff that looked pretty OEM. This wire until recently was all taped up nice. I just pulled the tape off today. It was lose and had mostly fallen off itself. Maybe the wrong kind of oil got on it or something. That was the reason I noticed it.

Did you track the wires ? my bet : spare 12v for instrument or accessories ?

Guessing if it is OEM: Looks like a 2nd windshield washer pump option pre-wire for a tailgate wiper that you don't have. Have the doors maybe?

What 6.5 SUV of yours is this in?

It's in the 95 TAhoe.
I tried to track them but I couldn't find them inside. they run in with the loom, kind of along side it.
