Hi, I just came over from the place. I'm not much of a *poster* but I read alot. I want to take a minute to say thanks to everyone for building a great community around our trucks. I recognize alot of friendly and helpful people here. I'm grateful for all the work everyone does to help out those in need, as well as for all the neat tech stuff and projects discussed here! It seems to me that this is the forum where it all comes together.
About me; I am a Millwright for a construction company, and I have a fleet of 14 to care for, as well as a ton of power equipment. One of my favorite things to do is to make obsolete stuff function usefully! I'm a dirt-biker, so is my wife, so are most of my friends. SLEDS!!!
My Truck; She's outlined in my sig. I tow all kinds of crap around, and I love to push my truck.... I haven't found the limit yet! I've owned her for 15 months and have put over on 40,000km. I have had some issues, but with the community support, it was never a problem. More like working through capabilities the truck hadn't used in years.. workin' the bugs out.. She's tight as hell now, I would even say pretty much bullet-proof with a skilled operator at the helm. She's never left me hangin, and I push it hard -40C to +40C.
LONG LIVE THE SIX-FIVE !
