I tried to open 2 attaqchments that the boss sent me.

One was Adobe - which I have never had a problem opening before and the other said it could be opened with Microsoft paint which should be on my computer with Windows 7

The Adobe Download fixed the first problem.

What do I do to fix the paint problem?

Any advice as to where to download paint?

This is the message I got when i tried to open the file

1. Navigate to the folder that contains an .rtf document
2. Right-click on the .rtf document
3. Select "Open With"
4. Select "Choose Program"
5. Select/highlight the program you always want to use to open .rtf documents, e.g., "Paint" (I prefer a word processor like "Word")
6. Check the box next to "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file"
7. Click [Ok]

The OS may try to open the application that was used to create the document.

If you try to open an .rtf with Adobe Reader, it would, most probably, error out with "unsupported document."

However, if you try to open an .rtf with Adobe Acrobat, it would generate a .pdf from the .rtf, then open the generated .pdf.
