I just received a skidplate that I purchased from one of the members on the other site. He had only one bolt and it looks like it takes four. My 2007 classic did not come with a skidplate.
Now my question, are the holes pre tapped, the one bolt I received does not seem to fit, and what size is the correct bolts, it looks to be metric.
Any help would be appreciated.
Tom

IIRC, they are already pre tapped. As far as size goes, I have no idea. I have had trucks with the skidpaltes before and on my 07 it didn't and to tell you the truth, I don't miss it. It makes lubing much easier.

the lower skid plate that lyes directly under the oil pan i assume, than yes four bolts i believe they are a metric thread 10mm by1.50. and about 1.5 inch long. they used to have rubber insulators on the back 2 bolts but they did away with them because they would get pretty beat up and bend. causing major reinstall headaches.

Thanks guys for the quick reply
Stacks04, I think it's for that location, it looks like the bolt holes line up. It also has the two rear holes recessed, probably to replace the rubber spacers.
The part # on the skidplate is 10365308.
Thanks again.
Tom
