Whats the word on these? Will they help protect my shocks from salt/slush when plowing, or will they end up trapping the salt in, making things worse?

Ive run them on mud trucks and plow trucks and never had anything in them... they usally have holes to let the crap out IIRC

So you think they help protect the shock? Reminds me of the wire-loom discussions where some people swear it trapps moisture in and coorods, and others say it protects.......

Only 4 bux a piece I guess I'll put them on my new shocks. If i was outside in the elements I'd think I'd be moer protected having some protection.... Gotta help keep the majority of the crap off the piston and away from the seal.
 
Mine did nothing but collect crap in them. Come winter time they'd be a block of ice. I cut them off. No issues that I can see.
