Rotella T(6) 5w40 in gassers??

I've never heard of anyone running that in a gasser Will. I'm not saying it's wrong or right but most manufacturers are adamant about no 40w. As in 5w30 or 10w30 but absolutely no 10w40.

I run 0-40w oil in everything in winter and 15-40w in everything in summer. It's not Rotella though. Saves on the jugs.

I run 5W-30 in all our vehicles except our Taurus (5W-20) and D-max (15W-40). I would run a good conventional or synthetic 5W-30. NAPA oils are made by Valvoline, IIRC, so that's a good choice, and NAPA Gold filters are internally identical to WIX. Don't cheap out on your filter. I'd rather run cheap oil through a better filter than a good oil through a cheap filter. Just my $.02.
