The volume control and a couple of preset buttons are now not lit up. How hard is it to change the bulb behind the those controls and what bulb do you use?

The hardest part is prying the face off of the radio without breaking any of the plastic tabs that hold it on. If you're handy with a soldering iron, this is relatively easy to tackle. Radio Shack has the bulbs and they're like $1.29 for a pack of 2.

My buddy (with a temper) was pissed one night that his new truck with only 25k had a radio with bad bulbs so he punched it. Low and behold the lights started working.....Thank god for Bud Light, it fixes everything.

Most dealers will replace the whole deck....if you have any idea how to solder you will be fine!
