Racor filters on other bases

I have a question, and no way right now to test it myself.
Will a racor spin on filter fit a standard fuel filter 1-14 3b thread type base?
If so, can you run just the clear bowl with the drain and heater and water sensor on the base without the filter?
A pre heater water drain before any filters, where depth for a filter isn't there in my application would be great.

IIRC, Racor makes some heads with built-in heaters. Perhaps check with Leroy to see if he has a lead on any

I have the water bowls with heaters and water in fuel sensors already for the r90, r45 etc filters. I'd like to use them on a base with the 1 14 threads. My concern is the base will be to narrow for the bigger racor filter.
