Powder coated wheels

Have any of you guys powder coated your wheels? More specifically, the chrome powder coating. I have the factory aluminum wheels and hate polishing aluminum with a passion! :mad2: I have seen the race car wheels that are chrome powder coated and they look pretty cool. I'm curious about the cost and turn around time.

Thanks! Thats a pretty good deal, If i can get it done for around $70 or so Im gonna be all over it.

i had a set of aluminum rims powder coated white on the diesel Rabbit. i don't know if the aluminum was prepped right or nor, i blasted them myself, but they started to crack, simular to glazing and chipped really easy. i was not happy but only cost 10.00 per wheel. local prison did it. wouldn't recommend that place to anyone.

like i said, it was a prison doing it. price was really low. they still looked good from a distance.
