Alright, Bill Heath said I can remove the PCM in the time it takes me to type this. So I have the glove box dropp and the PCM exposed, how do I remove it?:???:

He's right.

Pull the PCm towards you and the spring clips on the bottom edge closest to you will disengage. There's two pins in the back that slide out of thier holes at the same time. Sometimes the spring clips hold on for dear life, so you may have to frig with it a bit.

Then unplug the wire connectors.

Some do the wire connectors first.

Your choice.

One final word of advice:

Wait for daylight to do it.

unclip the black clips and pull it towards you. then carefully slide it so connectors are facing the engine but not too much or else they will break and pull it out. connectors are pretty strong though so you should be fine.

Thanks, got it out. The plugs were a bit tough to pull out. Sending this PCM with Heath GL4S programming back to Heath tomorrow for updated programming. Hopefully this will resolve my DTC 1656 problem.
