Overboost code???

Sunday coming home from camping towing the 5er and while crossing the I-10 bridge over the Mississippi River, my check engine light came on.
I only had about 2 -3 miles to go so I just drove it and checked it after I got home.

After checking the codes, it had a turbo overboost code. Re-set it and have not driven it since then. My boost (tubing supplied), never got above ~25 and I never really got into it hard.

I was running the Hypertech programmer on the middle tune and I have had a PPE boost valve on it for about 3 years.

A couple of weeks ago I did fix a hole in my intercooler pipe from the power steering line rub though.

Any ideas on the cause?

It's never done this before even towing in the mountains.

Probably needs a new M.L. tranny, Compound Twins, Carillo Rods, SoCal Diesel Stage II heads, ARP head Studs, Keyed Cam, Ceramic Coated Pistons de-lipped, Labonte Water Meth, some Custom tuning, SD tie rod sleeves, Super diesel Center link, MBRP Cool Duals, and some new rubber to go with that...

I'm afraid you'll have to leave your truck at Steves for the rest of winter... along with your credit card...

















It's probably nothing much... but don't tell Lori that, or we can't do all of the above...

I'll have to see what the limit is on my credit card, empty out my 401K, cash out life insurance, pension, take out a 2nd morgage the house and sell the dog.....then maybe she'll let me do all of that.... :nono:
