Does any one no if the fittings for the Stock Transmission cooler will work on the Stock Oil Cooler?
I thought I would ask before I started taking it apart?
Thanks

I would not put the soot from the used engine oil cooler in the transmission. It will eat the valve body alive and throw a TCC code on you quick. There is no effective way to flush the old engine oil coolers. ATF will pick up any soot in a heartbeat and continue to clean it out for a long time.

I was wondering the same thing. If you could reuse an old oil cooler for a different application. What about flushing it really well? There must be a way to clean out the soot effectively.
