oil cooler line replacements

hey guys i need a lil help i got a 94 6.5td and i can't keep those damn lines connected to the block and im wondering if theres an update available for it and if really needs the cooler or can i just put a couple plugs in and eliminate it all together im new to these 6.5s so if the question sounds a lil retarded forgive me but any info would be greatly apreciated for i have already replaced the motor once and don't wanna do it again
