True, but one can keep an eye on that when changing oil,they don't fail out of the blue.
They fail only after wearing trough by a loose fitting.
If the fitting feels tight and is dry i think it it be OK....And one can always replace the clips when in doubt.
Anyway,that's my excuse

Thank you, BTW we just got back from YellowStone NP and we saw a bunch of Bison all over. I thought about you for a second.
