55600 miles and my front passenger wheel bearing is toast, and I mean bad. It was just on the other side of Hell No Don't Drive It. It's at my buddy's right now on the lift, getting a 3yr Raybestos replacement. No, I don't have time to do it myself :mad2:

And don't tell me the Raybestos is crap, I can't take it right now:sick:

Raybestos is crap :D
Im kidding Ashton, No timken though?

Ashton, I did my rf a few months ago. Got the Timken unit for $230 from a vendor at DP (none of our guys do wheel bearings). I believe shipping was free and I had it in 2 days. IIRC, GM wants 5 to 600 bucks!

The Raybestos with a 3yr warranty was $188 and it's done, we found it was bad at about 6:30 this evening. It's nice to have friends.

Actually we do have one

RockAuto.com for 179.00 the new part number SP580310 that supersedes all other parts numbers. Sorry for buttin' in , you may now continue your daily routine.

Looks like the Easter bunny has come early. Speelling isnot me strong suits.:nonod: I think its the diet that I'm on. Lack-a-nookie diet.

Mine went out 38000 mi 2k past the warrenty, the dealer wanted 800.00 parts and labor.
I picked up the bearing for around 200.00 and had it changed out in 45 min. I was suprised how easy it was. I had a 2000 k2500(old body style truck) and those were a pain. I have never had any good luck with timken bearings
