Here's a few video's from the races at Silver Dollar on the 12th. This is all HD video, so if you open it up in YouTube, it'll show nice on full screen.

Me and my buddy Nick on Dave Dunbar's Dyno. I was running de-tuned a bit and put down 715 / 1320. My buddy Nick put down 414 / 747.

Here's two of my runs before I blew the exhaust off the truck. These are de-tuned runs to keep the truck in the 12's for Quick Diesel 12.0. The first run I blew the tires at the line because I wasn't watching the boost gauge and I launched at over 20 psi and the big charger was lit. The second pass I de-tuned it a bit more and ran a 12.25 at 113.....

Here's almost all the video I shot throughout the day. It's about 10 mins worth of editted video and is nothing but racing, burnouts and breakage.....

Rich, great videos!!! Even with the truck being de-tuned it is very impressive. We appreciate you sharing them with us...

That is awesome! ):h

Thanks for sharing!

In that one race video were you racing against the ford ranger with a 4BT?

Yeah, I was on it a little too hard on the first pass. It came unglued pretty violently.

I've spun all 4 on regular pavement before, but the truck just kinda slides sideways there. With the tires trying to grab on the track, it was not happy at all.

The second pass I dropped it down to approx 670 HP or so and turned the torque management down a bit to control the launch. I came off the line at about 10 - 12 psi, that's why you see so much smoke when I leave the line.

Normally, if I launch at 15 - 17 psi, the big turbo is just barely starting to light and the smoke isn't too bad. That first pass, I had it spun up way too high, it was over 20 psi at launch.

Guess that's what you were telling me about the Torque management and driving in the rain.....Awesome vid. Any questions now what a well tuned Cummins can do ?

Yeah, it doesn't need to be in the rain with this puppy. 2wd in the rain and it's pretty useless. ):h

That first launch I had the Smarty turned down to level 7, but the torque management was turned off. That was 715 HP with no torque management and TOO MUCH BOOST. :mad2:

The 2nd launch I had the Smarty on level 5 (approx 670 HP) and I had approx 25% torque management. MUCH easier on the driveline. :smile5:

Right now I'm just happy mine has made 1 week without breaking down.... I think the pickup tube hopefully will be the last issue for awhile.
