He was a down to earth country boy that could drive the wheels off of a race car, you couldn't help but like him. At one time he challenged Earnhardt pretty regular on the restrictor plate tracks. Sterling kind of vanished after he quit Nascar, don't hear much about him. I was thinking that he had a boy that was coming up through the racing ranks at one time?
