Alright guys and gal, im getting ready to order the duramax fan and a 97 fan clutch off rockauto. I just want to hear it from you guys that the fan will indeed fit the clutch and the clutch will fit my water pump. My truck does still have the four bolt clutch on it, and i believe it and the waterpump are original. the only issue is it likes to hover around 200-210 just driving around without a load, so when i order the clutch and fan im going to clean the radiator and condensor as good as i can since my dad has plenty of a/c coil cleaner. Thanks in advance

Got one on my truck,, and I'm Never over 210,, my gauge goes there,, then right down to 190. I'm sure my gauge is off some, as I've taken a laser temp thingy, and put it everywhere on my engine, andnever seen over 185 even when the gauge would say 200. You should be fine.

I can't help you with fitment or functionality details, sorry, haven't gotten to this point yet on my rig.

But please advise on what part numbers and prices you ended up with.

Thanks.

Mine works great!
When you hear that "WHOOSH" check the temp gauge and watch it drop 25 degrees in just a few seconds!
Only issue is that it activates so seldomly that the first time it needs to come on it seems to need a "spike" to kick her on, then it works normally.
Mine was SSD kit, not RockAuto
