Hey I know this isn't an advice column, but I am looking at a 1995 2500 HD with 195000 mi The 454 model. Just wondering if anyone out there knows anything about these beauts I myself have never had a truck this big but it is a really nice truck overall and very well maintained. Looking for common problems or professions of love lol you know like how the 96 1500 has a leaky rear main seal.
 
The 454 loves it's gas: Do not expect double digit MPG. The HD may be even more fuel thirsty. Frames behind the cab require an inspection for cracks. Some years improved the frame, but, HD is just that having a higher rating than pickups and 19.5" commercial tires. Check with your insurance to see if the coverage needs to be commercial etc.
