It's a sad sad day. My second street bike, my first 'true love' sold today... :cryin: My '99 Triumph Daytona 955i is gone, hopefully to a good owner, that will take care of her like I did. I had to put it on consingment at my buddy's shop because I don't think I could of looked the person in the eye and told them they could have MY bike. From what I heard, it sounds like it will be on it side by this weekend, if not sooner. :sosp:

Well, here's one last look at her....... :coolgleamA:

I bought it new in '99, stareing at that Ducati sitting next to it on the showroom for more than double the price. I had no where near the skill level, money or the 'respect' to own a Ducati, but one day......... Fast forward 8 years, a few spare bikes and many many many miles in between and I finally got my Ducati. Owning the Triumph and the Ducati at the same time is like haveing a Corvette and a Corvette ZO6 in the driveway. Although the Truimph is one hell of a machine, it's no match for the Ducati 996s sitting next to it. So the Triumph sat and I can't stand to see a great bike sit unused. It was time to pass the torch to someone else, and someone got a very nice bike with a lot of character and style, with a long long history.

damn.....you know you will regret it, I did when I sold my beemer, it is in many pieces now
