I picked up a new Gateway laptop about 2 months ago and it came with Napster already loaded on it.. I just started using in within the last couple weeks, and its ok but i find that alot of songs arent available for downloading/purchase for whatever reason and only give me a 30 sec listen. Im also surprised at really its lack of content. I searched quite a few popular bands and barely got a pg full of returns...
On my old laptop I used Limewire which had pretty good database, but hadnt used it for along time.
When my Dell died, I didnt have my music(or anything for that matter) backed up and its currently undetermined whether Ill be able to get my material back. But im going crazy not having music to listen to in the background while i surf...
What are some of the best ones to look at using? I dont care if I have to pay for the songs, I just want to get the music..

limewire has it's up and down. you may find a file that looks right but you never really know what you going to get. that and trying to find some of the older/less popular stuff is had
