Lmm Egr Blocked

Finally, been able to put the plate on...What a PITA!!! Anyways, the turbo whistle just got super loud. Seems like the spool up is quicker.

Hope I don't have to mess w/ EGR again...maybe if I ever pull the motor I'll delete the EGR itself...LOL!

PPE used to provide the blocker plate. They may still. Give them a call and see if you can get the blocker plate.

hay what good does blocking that do?

blocking the egr prevents the soot from going back into the intake. thus keeping the intake and the air a little cleaner

I'm about to imbark on this myself. I have looking at it and saying "how the hell am i getting my hands back there" let alone with a wrench. Do you have any helpfull hints on how you got to it?
