I found a new set of OEM 6" Step Bars from craiglist and went to install today.. Man was that a nightmare.

Drivers side is no problem, passenger side has to have the DEF tank dropped and completely unhooked so you can mount the front two brackets.

Since I don't have a lift I boxed them back up and I'm going to let me dealer mess something up. I attempted to drop the tank myself but it was to full and would of been more of a hassle, and if I screw something up I would of been stuck there..
 
Ugh, I hate that kind of chit.

GM has really dropped the ball on putting the Duramax into the Suburbans though. We're looking for a new burb, and I'd kill for an LML 'Burb. Alas, the 5.3 is going to have to suffice...
