Ever since I installed a Mag-Hytec diff cover on my sub it's been leaking non stop.
It leaks from the OE breather tube / breather assembly.
I've tried to plug the OE breather hose and drilled and tapped a hole on top of the Mag-Hytec diff cover for me to install a spring loaded breater (thanks to work; we make planetary gear boxes); then it starts leaking from the spring breather.
I am thinking I might need an oil expansion tank w/a return line. Any ideas; although gear oil is free (thanks to work) but it is a PITA to have to craw in and fill it every month...on the good side my diff'll never need an oil change and my gas tank, fuel lines, brake lines in that area will never rust due to the controled oil spray...
