Anyone ever swap out an LB7 with a LBZ? Wondering what it might take to put an LBZ in an 02?

It will take a ton of work changeing the ECM and wireing as well as I am not sure if the 6 speed Alli comp and 5 speed comp comunicate the same the ECM
I know Rick Lance swapped an LLY into an 03. Maybe he can give some insight as whats involved.

See, what had happened was...
I don't see it taking any more Work than it does with any other Motor Swap.
You'll need to Swap: Motor, Tranny, Wiring Harness, ECM, TCM. Nothing out of the Ordinary IMO.

I would unless the 5 speed is already built the 6 speed is a stronger trans

you would also need alot of interior wiring. they changed data busses in 03 to a high speed line, along with the ipc. alot of work imo. surely it can be done though. just not sure if it is worth it. your cooling system will be way undersized also.
